Keeping It Simple

In this live session, I’ll walk through how I think about an image before I start moving sliders. We’ll talk about cleaning up distractions, setting the mood with basic adjustments, cropping with purpose, and using masks to guide the viewer through the photo. The goal is not to make the edit more complicated. The goal is to ensure every choice supports the image’s story.

We are headed to the Quiraing in Scotland for an incredibly moody walk through this lush countryside. You’ll see how the day’s austere conditions will shape the photo’s intent. Small adjustments in light, color, contrast, and masking can completely change how a viewer experiences a photograph.

If you have ever felt like your workflow has too many tools, too many panels, or too many steps, this event will help you slow down and focus on what matters most: what you want the viewer to see and feel.

Join me live for an event all about keeping your editing process simple, focused, and full of intent.
