We met as a group on June 20th to hang out and have some healthy and fun discussions about photography. It was a great time and we talked about some interesting topics.
I posted the replay below and here are some of the concepts we discussed. If you want to skip around the video, use the chapter marks in the play bar for references to various topics of discussion.
- Stereoscopic imagery
- 360 Video and Photos
- Practical use of Stereoscopic, 360, and VR applications in the photo business
- Building a Portfolio
- How I conduct portfolio reviews
- The differences between Fine Artists and Visual Communications
These are always fun and informative. Especially the conversation about Stereoscopic and implementing VR into courses. I am curious to see where you will be taking us on those topics. And I definitely enjoyed the talk about portfolios. Still rolling that around in my mind and probably will be for days.
Really, I just need to get started on something and then flesh it out. Seems like the first step is always the hardest!
Absolutely! Just begin! But begin with the end in mind, who is going to see it and why are they seeing it? That’s the key.
I am loving the possibilities of 3d and 360 views in courses or just art in general, I am very excited to see where the future takes us. Lots to be excited about in the industry, especially in the places no one is really peeking into quite yet.
