Whooooooeeeeeee, Blake! You did a wonderful job of putting the Printing Course together. I was going to go through everything in a couple of days, but once started I went through everything today (the day it was announced). I started printing in the darkroom around 1976 and continued until 2011 with a crossover period when I started printing digitally in 2008. Since 2011, itโs been all digital. So, tonight, I even picked up some things that I should have been checking and doing all along. One was going to the Edit>Assign Profile and checking to see that the Adobe RGB profile was checked. Two images that I looked at were not checked as Adobe RGB. When I checked Adobe RGB and looked at the file, I said โWell look at that.โ There was a real improvement in the image. The other thing was Soft Proofing. With all the background that you gave, the reasons why we should be soft proofing, and demonstrating how to do it properly, that is one other thing that is going to make a huge difference in my printingโฆand pocketbook!
This was well worth the wait and thank you for all your work that went into giving us another super course that will help us be better print makers.

A fantastic course Blake! Even though I have been printing on and off for years, this taught me so much, especially about soft proofing intricacies, adjusting colour and the actions you supplied are SO helpful.
The work you put into this in terms of testing, testing, testing,, as well as the thought and usual excellent teaching style makes this such a worthwhile course for anyone wanting to start, or improve printing.

WOW!!! SIMPLY WOW!!! Perhaps the most useful of all courses. I’ve watched it twice already and it will be saved as a FAVORITE so I can go back to reference specific lessons when needed.
I print to give to friends and family, sales (seldom but it does happen!), exhibits, competitions and I always expect, under the best of circumstances, to do AT LEAST 4 or 5 test prints. But often it’s more–many more. I tried the lessons on a couple of pretty complex images today and got both to your “95% goal” with three tests. Seems complicated in the beginning but with the checklists, it almost becomes second nature pretty quickly. Still things to learn but these lessons will save time, money (paper and ink) and frustration. This has been worth every minute of my time. Kudo and thanks.
