Congratulations on choosing the right photos from different people for whom you are making tremendous improvements using the Palette effect. There are several examples in the training that a person receives with the panel, but in these Critic sessions the abilities of the panel can be seen more fully in practice.

39 Colour critiques was helpful to show what’s possible, what you like and not and the concept of colour matching or mismatching. Personally I prefer the actual colours rather than over rich but all can be scaled down. Definately worth going through and hopefully will save time later

Blake has a very natural way of critiquing images. He is thoughtful, playful, insightful, and offers some of the most helpful and useful pointers on how to make an image shine that I have ever experienced. In fact, it is because of Blake’s critiques that I joined f64 Elite.
He is kind, patient, thorough and, in all sincerity, I have yet to find anyone else who can explain why doing whatever changes he suggests works and the whole purpose behind his thinking process.
I can’t say enough great things about this course and you will definitely learn a ton of very useful and helpful information should you purchase it.
I love it and will review it often when I need to be reminded of how to proceed with image processing when I’m stuck … which is quite often :-).

It is always helpful to see how an educator uses a photo that he didn’t select just to make his procedure look good and turn it into something extra special. Blake uses photos that were sent in for critique and he uses his knowledge and skills to teach one how to make subtle changes to that photo to add something extra. Some of the photos are excellent and he only does small “tweaks” to show what could be done if one wanted to. He just gives someone the knowledge to go a step farther with their own imagination.
