Photoshop Foundations: The Inverted Image!
What if I told you there is a second dimension in your photos that you are not accessing right now? You’d probably want to know more right? Especially if I told you that with that 2nd dimension of data you could make some of the most natural adjustments possible.
The knowledge shared in this course will give you access to many techniques that can only be found here! We will take the concept of Complementary Colors and Color Theory to show you where this new dimension is and how to use it to your advantage. We will use the inverted image for things like color correction & grading. We will even look at a sharpening technique that will blow you away using the Hard Mix blend mode of all things!

Blake found a second dimension to use in our workflow. Contrast, noise, saturation, etc. Many ways that are very simple one-layer adjustments (unless you use a curve or something).

I have known the work of Blake Rudis for several years, so I am clear that he provides the user with good material, sound investigation and where the variables associated with color theory tend to have a relevant role.
My interest in acquiring the course had only one purpose, to know how he dealt with the subject of sharpen through blur, I contacted him, previously, to see if there was any possibility that I would have access to only that very aspect, without knowing the existence of this course -I had just reference to a video on sharpening via blurring- Blake answered to me that this course existed and that if such was my interest why not to acquire it.
It has been a very positive experience for me to interact with the knowledge exposed in the seven lessons, being the purest pearl of this course the fifth lesson dedicated to sharpen and contrast.
On the other hand, and trying to use with my best objectivity, I feel a duty to point out that the seventh lesson, dedicated to textures and masks, was useless to me.
