This course and panel are beyond any expectations that I had! This will get your brain fired up in new ways!
Blake’s courses are always next level but this one goes beyond that. Sit back and absorb then start your own experiments into what will help you take your images to exceptional. Learning how to bring out the vision that we see when we take the shot, how to think about how a viewer sees the image, color and tones is something that I have struggled with. I am a clinical thinker, not someone that thinks with emotions in mind, so this was a learning curve for me and will continue to be. Blake explains the emotional connection, the impact on a viewer and how to bring those together very well; literally how to bring your vision to life so that it can speak for itself. To slow down, take a minute and think about what you want the viewer to focus on, why you think that is the most important part(s) of the image. Once you have those, then bringing your vision to life is much easier.
The panel is laid out in a way that is not only well thought out but is very easy to use, it just flows as you work.
Once again Blake has taken very difficult concepts, methods, techniques and made them understandable. My mind is blown at how easy this panel is to use and how much it can simplify many of the things that I do to images, I absolutely love the tone and color sculpting aspects of this panel. The sliders in the color section will rock your world.

Kudos! This new approach and workflow is a universe of its own and all comes together in a precise, very focussed education and panel – and I mean it in that order. This approach with focus on photo editing but from an artists and painters perspective is unique, and I feel like you finally found a way to sum up mechanical and creative to something that is much greater than just the sum of those two parts.
I absolutely love module 1 with the discussion of art movements, painting and image analysis and clear explanation of how we perceive a work of art – what an eye opener!

The best panel and course ever! Not just another “how to”, Photoshop course but a fundamental change in thinking about photo processing overall. It explains the “WHY” of enhancing photos as if we were “painting” the image ourselves. Probably the best utility I’ve ever bought for Photoshop. The art education alone to me was worth the price. The knowledge of the concept of tones and lights/darks and how the eye is drawn to certain places is invaluable. The the Visionary Panel then actually lets you modify your photos (and other artwork) so that the colors/tone adjustments added to your image can change where the viewer is most likely to first focus their attention. And it can look completely natural so that the adjustments aren’t obvious to the viewer. Amazing…

I have just completed all the VP videos. Just starting to play with the panel itself. My initial impression is that it is very instinctive and intuitive where the older panels were reasonably technical and much harder to get my head around.
Discovering the end product of VP are more like an artworks than a capturing of a moment, where as the older panels lean towards the right mathematical formulas to create all the right colours, tones, lighting etc….. than to create the “artwork” Can still be achieve, but I reckon you need a good understanding of all the technical behaviours of mixing colours digitally in combination with tonal valves, different types of blending etc…. plus all the variation PS offers.
Blake you are definitely on a winner here. VP makes me feeling comfortable just to play around to achieved what I want or what I want to see without having to know too much technical informations. ( many times with old panels, I have no idea how I got to that point that pleases my my eyes) I can see in the future I can use the older panel to really fine tune the VP product if one chooses to. the VP have taken you to well over 95% to an ideal finish.
So looking forward to playing and learning and discovering about the VP and its limits

Well, I have not quite finished the education in this course, but I just have to offer this review for others. This is hands down the best education I have seen in my years of “learning Photoshop”. This goes away from the actual steps of Photoshop and is really an art education course instead. Blake works to help you tap into your vision of what you want others to see when they look at your photo. What draws them into your photo. It’s just an amazing process.
Aside from the education, the Panel makes experimenting and playing easy and intuitive. The logical order of tools you would use in Photoshop made easier to use. It is laid out really nice and a wonderful addition to PS. This is best education and panel yet. This is really going to help me create the amazing photos that I feel I have struggled with in the past. Well worth the price.

So far so good, but I have only made it through module 1. All very interesting, but I did not expect the AI content. I think it good that you have made us more aware of AI, and to think about it.
One issue I find is remembering it all. I know that I have a poor memory, and trying to recall all the considerations just before pressing the camera shutter is like a foreign language, and I cannot remember any of them either.
The second issue is to touch the emotion, again something that does not come naturally. Module 1 has made me have a good think about it. It makes me think that those who can touch the emotion have a great head start to be an artist, dancer or writer. As for the rest of us, will it come with practice?

I cannot say enough good things about the visionary panel so far. It makes such sense and fits with my own workflow. Everything is made so much easier. If you didn’t know much about Photoshop, it would be a huge gift to have this panel. But even knowing all I do about Photoshop processing, it is also a huge gift to have this panel. There is one “go to” place with easy ways of doing all sorts of processing, which I might normally try to do in other ways from “scratch”. Blake is a marvelous teacher and photographer and artist. I am so grateful that he has developed this one panel where everything lives and is integrated. I look forward to listening to the rest of his teaching videos and learning more about the other parts of the panel. I can’t wait to process more of my own images with this panel. My artwork is shown in a Florida Keys art gallery near where I live. I am often printing my images and exhibiting and selling them. Hi Blake, I asked you if the `Visionary Panel` would add anything to my other panels I already had from you.
You said that you are constantly tailoring yourself and your insights to the latest developments, and therefore your personal growth.
Since training is crucial and a lens also costs $1000+ i purchased the panel..
The `vision` is that you photograph for the viewer, you want to give the viewer the same feeling/experience as when you decided to take the photo. So you will have to lead the viewer’s eyes through `focus points` to achieve that goal. This is possible by the tools available in the Panel.
These have been made as simple as possible, with the possibility of introducing your own ‘vision’ and in a order that you have unnoticed your own workflow!
Especially the `color grading` is perfect, so easy, you can see what the colors are `doing` in relation to each other! In short, another real ‘Blake Rudis’ panel!
I still use my other panels for dodge&burn, PE4 and Blend-If panel, because they are useful for specialized tasks.

Remind everyone of your often stated “It’s a slow build up process”. How many years did you spend getting to the Visionary Panel?
I would not trade any of the hundreds of hours I have spent from Thirty Days of Photoshop thru PE4 because I have a working knowledge the processes now.
The Visionary Panel is akin to taking a final exam and acing it and being shocked. Sometimes the best education you get is not knowing when you are learning.
I look forward to the next big breakthrough. Remember, this is no such thing as perfection.

I’ve been using the Visionary Panel following Blake’s processing steps. The first Tone Evaluation tab is eye opening and lets you know where your viewer is looking at the image. The Color tabs and sliders make adjusting color nuances easily and correctly. His videos make it easy to understand what is happening. Blake’s courses are always next level but this one goes beyond that. Sit back and absorb then start your own experiments into what will help you take your images to exceptional. Learning how to bring out the vision that we see when we take the shot, how to think about how a viewer sees the image, color and tones is something that I have struggled with. I am a clinical thinker, not someone that thinks with emotions in mind, so this was a learning curve for me and will continue to be. Blake explains the emotional connection, the impact on a viewer and how to bring those together very well; literally how to bring your vision to life so that it can speak for itself. To slow down, take a minute and think about what you want the viewer to focus on, why you think that is the most important part(s) of the image. Once you have those, then bringing your vision to life is much easier.
The panel is laid out in a way that is not only well thought out but is very easy to use, it just flows as you work.
Once again Blake has taken very difficult concepts, methods, techniques and made them understandable. My mind is blown at how easy this panel is to use and how much it can simplify many of the things that I do to images, I absolutely love the tone and color sculpting aspects of this panel. The sliders in the color section will rock your world.

Probably the best utility I’ve ever bought for Photoshop. The art education alone to me was worth the price. The knowledge of the concept of tones and lights/darks and how the eye is drawn to certain places is invaluable. The the Visionary Panel then actually lets you modify your photos (and other artwork) so that the colors/tone adjustments added to your image can change where the viewer is most likely to first focus their attention. And it can look completely natural so that the adjustments aren’t obvious to the viewer. Amazing…

I have just completed all the VP videos. Just starting to play with the panel itself. My initial impression is that it is very instinctive and intuitive where the older panels were reasonably technical and much harder to get my head around.
Discovering the end product of VP are more like an artworks than a capturing of a moment, where as the older panels lean towards the right mathematical formulas to create all the right colours, tones, lighting etc….. than to create the “artwork” Can still be achieve, but I reckon you need a good understanding of all the technical behaviours of mixing colours digitally in combination with tonal valves, different types of blending etc…. plus all the variation PS offers.
Blake you are definitely on a winner here. VP makes me feeling comfortable just to play around to achieved what I want or what I want to see without having to know too much technical informations. ( many times with old panels, I have no idea how I got to that point that pleases my my eyes) I can see in the future I can use the older panel to really fine tune the VP product if one chooses to. the VP have taken you to well over 95% to an ideal finish.
So looking forward to playing and learning and discovering about the VP and its limits

Well, I have not quite finished the education in this course, but I just have to offer this review for others. This is hands down the best education I have seen in my years of “learning Photoshop”. This goes away from the actual steps of Photoshop and is really an art education course instead. Blake works to help you tap into your vision of what you want others to see when they look at your photo. What draws them into your photo. It’s just an amazing process.
Aside from the education, the Panel makes experimenting and playing easy and intuitive. The logical order of tools you would use in Photoshop made easier to use. It is laid out really nice and a wonderful addition to PS. This is best education and panel yet. This is really going to help me create the amazing photos that I feel I have struggled with in the past. Well worth the price.

So far so good, but I have only made it through module 1. All very interesting, but I did not expect the AI content. I think it good that you have made us more aware of AI, and to think about it.
One issue I find is remembering it all. I know that I have a poor memory, and trying to recall all the considerations just before pressing the camera shutter is like a foreign language, and I cannot remember any of them either.
The second issue is to touch the emotion, again something that does not come naturally. Module 1 has made me have a good think about it. It makes me think that those who can touch the emotion have a great head start to be an artist, dancer or writer. As for the rest of us, will it come with practice?

I am only halfway through the teaching videos, and already I am loving this panel. I have followed Blake for years and listened to and loved most of his YouTube tutorials. I always have learned so much from him. I am pretty advanced in terms of understanding and using Photoshop.
I cannot say enough good things about the visionary panel so far. It makes such sense and fits with my own workflow. Everything is made so much easier. If you didn’t know much about Photoshop, it would be a huge gift to have this panel. But even knowing all I do about Photoshop processing, it is also a huge gift to have this panel. There is one “go to” place with easy ways of doing all sorts of processing, which I might normally try to do in other ways from “scratch”. Blake is a marvelous teacher and photographer and artist. I am so grateful that he has developed this one panel where everything lives and is integrated. I look forward to listening to the rest of his teaching videos and learning more about the other parts of the panel. I can’t wait to process more of my own images with this panel. My artwork is shown in a Florida Keys art gallery near where I live. I am often printing my images and exhibiting and selling them. I think this visionary panel is going to help take my work to an even better level. It also is going to cut down my processing time which I am very happy about.
I should mention that I also use Topaz and Nik plug-ins when processing my artwork. But now I may be using mostly this visionary panel, which gives me much more and easy control over crafting my artwork, and creating my own interpretation. Thank you, Blake.

After watching Blake’s preview of the Visionary Panel, I envisioned that the Panel could help me be more efficient in my photo processing, and it has certainly fulfilled that objective; but what really has changed my approach to editing are the education videos and written material that Blake includes. I thought Module 1 would be a bunch of fluff, but I was wrong, it lays a foundation on how one can draw focus to the most important subject matter of the image. Module 2 demonstrates using the panel in a practical manner, Module 3 provides a number of case studies on applying the theory and panel. Just fantastic.

Hi Blake, I asked you if the `Visionary Panel` would add anything to my other panels I already had from you.
You said that you are constantly tailoring yourself and your insights to the latest developments, and therefore your personal growth.
Since training is crucial and a lens also costs $1000+ i purchased the panel..
The `vision` is that you photograph for the viewer, you want to give the viewer the same feeling/experience as when you decided to take the photo. So you will have to lead the viewer’s eyes through `focus points` to achieve that goal. This is possible by the tools available in the Panel.
These have been made as simple as possible, with the possibility of introducing your own ‘vision’ and in a order that you have unnoticed your own workflow!
Especially the `color grading` is perfect, so easy, you can see what the colors are `doing` in relation to each other! In short, another real ‘Blake Rudis’ panel!
I still use my other panels for dodge&burn, PE4 and Blend-If panel, because they are useful for specialized tasks.

Remind everyone of your often stated “It’s a slow build up process”. How many years did you spend getting to the Visionary Panel?
I would not trade any of the hundreds of hours I have spent from Thirty Days of Photoshop thru PE4 because I have a working knowledge the processes now.
The Visionary Panel is akin to taking a final exam and acing it and being shocked. Sometimes the best education you get is not knowing when you are learning.

I’ve been using the Visionary Panel following Blake’s processing steps. The first Tone Evaluation tab is eye opening and lets you know where your viewer is looking at the image. The Color tabs and sliders make adjusting color nuances easily and correctly. His videos make it easy to understand what is happening.
