I’ve heard of dodging and burning over the years and have tried doing it. Not with great success, however. I’m not a full time photographer so it’s difficult to remember all these techniques and even if you recall the idea you don’t remember how to do it.
Blake’s new app makes this so easy . I went over a lot of old photos I had and in no time, they were all improved.

I really loved the Dodge and Burn lessons for teaching me how easily I can do so much more to my photos. I have bought most of your lessons and I think this is the best Photoshop teaching coarse I have ever seen. I tried many other Photoshop coarse in the past including Lynda, Creative Live, Ben Willmore, but this is the only one that teaches advance techniques for landscape photographers. I now believe that there are no limits to Blake’s artistic innovations. I thought the ZSE panel is the upper limit, then came the Palette effects to prove me wrong. The Dodge and burn panel is the real icing on the cake, it takes dodging and burning to a completely new level that I doubt anyone knew they existed. Dodging and burning with colours is a must have. Thanks Blake you have opened yet another new horizon for artistry.

I am still learning the technique and use of the panel. So far, it has worked very well, however, I have to keep reviewing to get it in my head. I watched the video on my MacBook pro and the screen image was small and hard to follow. I still think this is a good tool to use and I am using now on some new photos I have taken in the last couple of weeks.

Although many aspects of it were known to me, there were still some new tricks to be learned and, as usual, Blake was able to provide them. If you want a deep dive into dodging and burning, this is the bundle for you! Each of the two courses stand well on their own, but bundle them together and you’re well on your way to sculpting the light like a master. I love dodging and burning and have been doing it for years in a variety of photo editing software. Yet I still found aha moments throughout both courses.
